The three sites that UNESCO picked as its Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity for hand-made paper making are: Misumi-cho in Hamada City, Shimane Prefecture, Mino City in Gifu Prefecture and Ogawa Town/Higashi-chichibu Village in Saitama Prefecture.
Here is a list of hand-made paper makers in these three sites. Some of them have an English site and some have an online shopping site. If you are interested in purchasing their samples, hopefully the list below is helpful.
Sekishu Washi (石州和紙)in Misumi-cho lists four makers, all of whom have their own website. Below is the name of the makers and the link to their website:
Mino Hand Paper (美濃和紙) Co-operative lists up 18 makers on its website. Of the 18, three has its own website, listed below:
I didn't find a list of makers for Hosokawa (細川紙) of Ogawa Town, but at least I found a website of one maker, Kubo Seishi.
